The state of Colorado has not had a ‘USDA Custom Poultry Slaughter Facility’ available to small farmers in over 8 years. It just so happens that one sits empty and available about 1 mile from our poultry farm. We have been diligently working towards a purchase of this building and now have the plan to make it happen. In order to get this project off the ground, we are looking to YOU, the community, to help make this dream come true.

Jodar Farms is seeking multiple small-medium sized ‘Micro-Loans’ from our community members, to help fund the purchase and remodel of this USDA slaughter facility. All loans will be paid back in full after 60 months and will accrue annual “Farm Store Credit” in lieu of cash interest rates.
